Possibly One of the Coolest People in South Florida

Perhaps the best thing about working in a shop is the opportunity you have to meet a lot of really great people.  There is, as with everything else, a hierarchy that applies, and only a select few end up at the very top of that pile.  I’m not trying to be unkind, but until you’ve stood on my side of the counter for a few days and had an entire retinue of people stream through and tell you the most patently absurd things about their motorcycles, and their riding experience(s) you really can’t fully appreciate how completely someone who is a genuine, down-to-earth, rider stands apart from the crowd.    Antonio Julio Covas is that guy.  Quiet, unassuming, multi-talented, motorcycle DNA that won’t quit, and a really nice guy.  Absolutely crazy helmet painter–we had his stuff on display for a short period of time at the shop–very very cool. (pictures of them are on Hurricane Cycle South Beach Facebook page)  Check him out at http://sucatausa.tumblr.com/
